Find out what are the essential plugins for any WordPress and why


Using WordPress gives you the possibility of doing infinite things, with or without plugins helps, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve been using the platform for years.

During all those years using the platform, I’ve noticed that there are always those essential plugins that make our day-to-day work easier and who knows, can help increase visitor traffic on the website.

Today I will tell you what is the essential plugins are and why I use them. Ready? So let’s go!

1) Yoast SEO

SEO is a word that has become very popular in recent years and that has great potential to make sites friendly to the search engines like Google and Yahoo!

Learning all of the SEO techniques can be tricky for some people. A viable option is the plugin Yoast SEO. If you need to increase traffic to visitors to your website this plugin may be a good choice. It uses SEO mechanisms, making your site have more visibility in the search engines. As the plugin description says, Yoast does everything in its power to please visitors and search engine spiders.

2) WP Statistics

This plugin providing statistics on your WordPress visitors.  You can track easily the statistics on your WordPress site without depending on external services.

Through this plugin, you can find out which are the most used words that help the users find your site easily. Also this, you can know the number of visits per page or post and the data are not sent anywhere and saved internally to respect your users’ privacy. Cool, huh?

3) Loginizer

This is one of the first plugins I always install and recommend to my clients. It is ideal for increasing the security of your WordPress.

Malicious people use brute force, which is one of the very tactics used to knock down or invade websites. Loginizer is a plugin that acts against this type of tactic by blocking one or more IPs. The plugin allows you to set the maximum number of attempts and the timeout for each login attempt.

The plugin also extend Lockout after maximum lockouts allowed and send a email notification to admin after max lockouts.

4) Minimal Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode

The plugin allows you to quickly & easily set up a Coming Soon, Maintenance Mode, Landing Page or Launch Page for your website.

You activate the plugin, choose the homepage design and you’re done. Do maintenance without users seeing.

If you do not like the template options available, do not worry. You can make your own page custom in the advanced menu using HTML and CSS.
